Welcome to the website of my group! I'm a condensed matter theorist
working as an Assistant Professor at Université de Montréal, in Québec, Canada.
I'm interested in the unusual states of matter that emerge (usually) at
low temperature, where quantum mechanics dictates the rules.
If you're curious, please take a look at the overview of my
research and my publications.
I hold a Canada Research Chair
in Quantum Phase Transitions.
I'm a member of the Regroupement Québécois sur les Matériaux de Pointe (RQMP),
a material research consortium. I'm also
a member of the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM),
a major hub for the mathematical sciences (including mathematical physics), located on the Université de Montréal campus.
I'm an Adjunct Professor at McGill University (Montréal) and an Affiliate at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (Waterloo), a leading centre for scientific research, training, and educational outreach in foundational theoretical physics.
OPENINGS: My group has openings for graduate students (Masters and PhD), so please feel free to contact
me if you're interested. (PDF)
